CSTA and Drupal

Here I am at NECC 2007 in Atlanta getting set up to watch a presentation on an open source CMS system called Drupal. CSTA is considering using the software for a project and I am hoping to gain some more insight into some of the more subtle uses of the software.

A CMS system stands for Content Management System (I guess me using the word system is a bit redundant). It allows for a variety of possibilities including forums, blogs, shared documents, etc. I am hoping that by choosing an easily expandable tool that we set ourselves up for the ever growing web 2.0 phenominon and have the ability to grow with the needs of our membership and leadership.

I think the presenter is about to start so I will sign off and post more later.
