AP Computer Science is a one year course in Java which leads students to taking the Advanced Placement Exam in Computer Science in May.  This course contains material for both the A and AB courses and students choose (with advice from the instructor) the route they wish to pursue.

Assignments from this course may include but are not limited to program assignments, reading assignments designed to broaden the student's understanding of computer science, participation in classroom discussions both in person and asynchronously through the class forums (which can be accessed from the computer lab at school or at home), and various homework assignments.  Assessments in the form of tests can be expected at intervals and will be announced with review sheets provided.
